My Professional Experience:
Digital Impact Alliance at the United Nations Foundation—Policy & Research Fellow

At DIAL, I conducted landscaping analyses of funding and financing models for national digital transformation in low and lower-middle-income countries. To that end, I performed literature reviews, global stakeholder mapping, and presented findings in PowerPoint and narrative formats.
I also pioneered a Weekly Digest, where I monitored current events and synthesized reports to help develop DIAL’s messaging campaigns and foster team coherency.
Parallelly, I collaborated with the Open Source Center to develop the initiative to transform a USAID- backed transportation software into a Digital Public Good.

Working at IDB Invest I had the opportunity to help draft and present to the board IDB’s Personal Data Privacy Policy and Guidelines. In that effort, I helped develop and administer workshops and surveys to map the data uses of IDB Invest’s personnel for consideration into the Policy.
I started at IDB as an intern and continued as a consultant until the conclusion of the Personal Data Privacy Policy project.

First as a Project Assistant and then as a Paralegal, at Baker McKenzie I developed my project management skills against a high-stakes background.

I also managed documentation lifecycles for a broad range of international matters, including mergers, acquisitions, liquidations, and corporate reorganizations. Additionally, I administered data rooms and handled corporate maintenance matters for global clients.
I particularly enjoyed communicating with clients and working with various stakeholders in any given project.
My Internships:

At Resilience Force I took a leadership role in conducting in-depth fact investigations regarding a COVID-19 outbreak involving immigrant post-disaster clean-up workers in Midland, Michigan, reported on by NPR and The New Yorker.

UW Law & Entrepreneurship Clinic
May 2019 - January 2020
At the Law & Entrepreneurship Clinic, which offers free legal services to the local Madison community, I worked with entrepreneurs to determine legal issues to best position their start-up for future growth. I advised them on incorporation procedures, liability, and other organizational considerations.
Additionally, I researched and wrote legal memoranda, tailored operating agreements to client’s business, drafted commercial real estate, consulting, and sales agreements.
